 09.19.06 Nomai Concept releases 1st song for radio airplay

The song, titled "Al Tomri Noash" ( Don't Despare ), was written by Nomai member, Alon Danin, sang by Ella Tadmor, and features the unique sound of the tenor recorder, played by Itzik Levi. Song is the first release from the next, upcoming  Nomai album, which will include new instrumental pieces and, for the 1st time, vocal songs. No date is set yet for the release.

 
 10.10.06 New members join Nomai in their live efforts.

2 new musicians joined resently to help Nomai in their live efforts: Guitarist Arik Polakovsky and percussionist Chaim Baba. The group is starting its new live program, "The Integreated Show". The first concert will be held on  12.29.06 at Bimatron hall, Hod Hasharon. Numbers will include new pieces from the next CD, and past releases from "Cross Border".

Nomai Live on Reshet Gimel.

Nomai will play live from a studio, which will operate from the International Book Fair in Jerusalem, on 2.20.07, from 16:00 to 18:00. The band will play some numbers from its repertoir, and also will be interviewed. Additionally, a new instrumental piece, "From High Above", was chosen to accompany the radio jingle of the Book Fair. It is played already on every Kol Israel station.

 
01.29.07 Nomai goes to L.A.

Nomai Concept, in a reduced line-up, will perform on 3.11.07 in Los Angeles with American dance-group "Keshet Chaim". The band will play some numbers from its repertoir, and the dance group will perform choreagraphy based on the band's music, which will be played live on-stage. The band was invited to play after dance-group Manager, Eitan Avisar, heard the  "Cross Border" CD, liked it,  and decided to compose choreagraphy on numbers from it. On the 2nd part of the show, the "Friends of Kaveret" will appear.

02.08.07 Update in Nomai's web-site.

Today an update was made in this site. The Picture page was enhnced conciderably, featuring new pix of the band and members, including shots from a recent concert, held in Petach Tikva. Future updates will be done in the very near future.
